  • Graduation Celebration Party Recaps
  • Overall, the event was successful. There were 89 people attended the event. Next year should consider a bigger place either a new restaurant or catering style of hosting. And shop around for different places and may be find an alternate to consider a different venue. The planning will be begin in February, 2012 and the detail program plan agenda will start initiate one and half month before the event day. Ma Thin Wit Yee reported the financial reported and some of the left over money will transfer for the next graduation event. We all agreed that we are not expecting to make money out of the graduation event, but we want to grow and keep in touch with the grads and other professionals. Suggestion if we can create a job list and give some advices and create a workshop for people to work with them and hear their experiences with their companies. Based on the discussion, we should sponsor some of the refugee students to be able to attend. By large, BYA committed agreed to include them at the next year event. Have a different theme, as well as fun to be around, and a different that provides inspirational.

  • B(M)CCFR
  • Tickets will be sold as $5.00 and it can be value as either to use for the talent show or buy food at the event. The committee will consider to host the BAPS, ABCD, and CYA. Ma Thin Wit Yee will send the spread sheet to the group and will make phone calls who were assigned to follow up.

  • BYA Summer Camping Trip
  • It is confirmed on August 19, 2011 and August 20, 2011 for two nights stay and we will be checking out on August 21, 2011. The listing of all the people who will be joining info will be available soon. Ko Win Min will update people who will be joining the trip through his website at http://www.tripblueprint.com.
